Hello SDNers,

Would it be appropriate to ask my volunteer coordinator for a letter of recommendation? I only have known her for one month :(. There's another volunteer coordinator for a club I've been extremely active in from last year and I have met with her before.

Also, should I ask for a LOR from a professor's class in which I received a B (which was the average grade), but I've consistently attended office hours and the professor knows me by name?

Ask yourself if these people would write good letters for you. If these lors are for next cycle, why not wait to ask your coordinator until like April? I think the professor would be okay, not as optimal had you gotten an A.
