Should I be concerned if I still have not submitted my AMCAS application for verification?

Like many, I've been feverishly working on my personal statement and activity/experience descriptions over the past weeks (if not months). However, after recently rewriting my personal statement (again), I have continued to push back my original submission date for verification (previously June 14th was my goal).

Now that I am confident in the quality of my personal statement, I am revising my activity & experience descriptions. I truly wanted to submit my app today for verification, but I am concerned I may rush out my activity descriptions before they are ready. The current activity descriptions are solid, but I know more time could allow me to more effectively communicate the core competencies, impact, and lessons learned.

Would you consider a submission today versus Wednesday or Friday significant, or should I stop worrying about getting my application in as early as possible (I.E. today over Wednesday) and focus on ensuring the quality of my submission is at a level that allows my application to truly resonate with AdComms?

At the rate it’s going, you will likely be verified before the end of July. That’s all you need. Submit when you can so long as you aren’t waiting until after around July 15

I appreciate the info. I wish you luck with your application and secondaries!

You're fine until Mid August.

As long as you apply before August, you will be good. A lot of students are still in he process of submitting in their applications. Best of luck!
