Should I be taking Orgo Lab?

Hi all 🙂
In my school, Organic Chemistry is 3 credits.
Then there is Exp Organic Chemistry, 2 credits.
Making 5 credits in total for this Chemistry course - will be taking (Orgo 1 & 2).

Is the Lab necessary or can i skip this?

Lab is a necessary requirement for med school ...

That being said. If it's over separately, my advice is to TAKE IT TOGETHER!

I'm currently taking lab right now my last quarter of senior year, 2 years after taking the class. Terrible decision ..............

Do most schools require two full semesters of lab? It seems like on the MCAT most of the lab topics are from first semester only. I've already taken a total of 8 credits (semesters) of Ochem lecture + 2 credits of Ochem lab (first semester only), and I'd like to avoid doing anymore damage to my sGPA >.<...

What is MSAR? I'd like to avoid taking any lab i possibly can. Can i get away with Orgo II Lab? This way i only take Orgo I Lab.

You're going to have to take both semesters of lab if your school offers it.

I think it's called Medical College Admissions Requirements. Check the requirements page on that to see if you need a 2nd lab semester or not. Some don't require a second semester

But you should probably take it anyways because many more schools do require a second semester
