I have 3.2 GPA
Major: BioCHEM

Should I consider my self for the DAT exam? Will I have a chnace if I really do well on DAT exam?

If you're talking about taking it cold turkey having majored in biochem, I wouldn't recommend it, although majoring in biochemistry will definitely have given yout the tools you need to succeed. Make sure that you study DAT-specific materials like crazy, like Kaplan's books, and take some practice tests.

With a good DAT score combined with your GPA, it should make you competitive for many dental schools. If you're going to take the DAT this summer and apply for 2005, though, I'd recommend applying ASAP.

Absolutely! It's lower than most school's averages, but with a good DAT score and other extracurricular activities (observing a dentist, volunteering, etc.) it's definitely sufficient. Check out these stats:

Also, you might want to check out "The Under 3.0 Club" thread for some encouragement. A 3.2 GPA by no means puts dental school out of reach.
