Only do a post-bacc or SMP if you are confident you could succeed in these programs. If you perform poorly as in your undergraduate (anything below a 3.5), you could bid your medical school dream goodbye, and this will be the kiss of death for any future applications. You should assess your transcripts to see what resulted in this low GPA. Do you have many courses with C/D/F grades? How did you do in your science pre-requisites? If you were to retake the course, how many semesters do you need to boost your GPA to at least 3.3? Have you taken your MCAT? Do you think you could score at least 500, ideally 510, on MCAT? How are your extracurriculars? Do you have substantial clinical experience and community services? Have you shadowed a DO?
Evaluate how competitive you are aside from the academic credentials (post all of them if you want us to assess it). Work on improving these deficits, and you might stand a chance at being accepted.
