i'm a senior at UGA - 30P mcat, 3.5GPA (BCPM). i applied to all the georgia med schools (complete since october), but have heard from none of them about an interview.
should i start looking at postbac programs? if so, which ones? thanks any advice would be helpful

If you don't get in, you need to find out why before jumping into postbac. Your numbers are average for matriculants, so I'm not sure additional classes will make the difference. Did you apply to more than the couple of schools in GA? You did apply late so it may be too early to know the outcome. If rejected, you probably want to get a meeting with one or more of the schools that rejected you and see if they can give you any suggestions as to how to improve your application for the next cycle. Then do what they tell you.

what's your cGPA?
are your MCAT balance?
what school did you go to? what major?
what are your extracuriculars?

Know tons of ppl who went to med school with your stats...but before you start thinking about going into post bac, those are things to consider...and of course, with your stats, APPLYING early is the most important thing you can do...

Your numbers look sufficient, but that's only part of the puzzle. What's your cummulative GPA like (not just your BCMP)? How did your MCAT distribute (e.g., 10/10/10 vs 13/12/5)? What are your clinical experiences? Volunteering? Research? Leadership ECs? Are you confident you got good LORs?

If you think a post-bacc might do something for you, then definitely start looking into them. They have application deadlines, too. Surely UGA has a pre-health professions advisor -- have you talked with that person about your candidacy?

i am from GA also, applied to them all, and only got secondaries (mcg is free!!)....they take a long time to send out. I wouldn't do a post bac, that'll suck up at least 2 years of your time. you don't want to start a post bac then dump it. with your scores alone (not counting the interview), you'll end up getting in somewhere. may not be where you WANT to go, but if you apply VERY BROADLY you'll get in, use the US news and world report and check out the school stats. keep a log of all the crap that you send, receive, harrassing phone calls to secretaries....etc. don't worry, good luck 👍
