Hi. This is my first time on the forum. I am a senior and I am graduating in May. My goal is to continue on to medical school. My GPA is alright: 3.55, 3.16 science. My MCAT was not stellar: 493. I know with those stats my best option is to retake the MCAT and do a postbacc/masters. I know of a few already that I want to apply to, such as Drexel’s DPMS and Morehouse’s MS in Medical Sciences. Basically, I was hoping to see if anyone knew of another programs that would be a good fit, especially linkage programs. Thank you for your time.
Depends on if you want MD or DO. If you are ok with DO and get 505+ on your MCAT you don’t need a SMP if you apply broadly and have the ECs.

For MD, post bac and MCAT retake with 511+.

I agree. Do you recommend any master programs?

I don’t think you need an SMP program. They are going to cost you more than it would to just do a DIY post bac. A year of great grades in a post bac would raise your GPA and show you can handle medical school.
