General Should I do MPH or Post-Bacc Program

Hi,

I know I am going to take a gap year before applying to med school, because my application is not the strongest right now. I have a 3.4 GPA and got a 502 on my MCAT. My advisor recommended doing a post-bacc program to bump up my GPA and I liked that idea. My PI and other professors recommended getting an MPH because that will help my application and help even after medical school. What do you guys think would be a better option? Is there one that medical schools prefer?

How did you do in upper level science courses? An MPH will not help if the area of improvement is upper level biomedical coursework.

An MPH will not convince Adcoms that you can handle med school.

Do the post-bac
