so i just got offered an interview at my top school and scheduling starts october 13. I already had an interview set at another for oct 15th and was thinking of waiting and schedule my interview for my top choice school for AFTER the 15th so i can get some practice in at the diff school. Do you think that is a good idea?? I would make the interview for OCT 19th so it is only one week later than the first availabe date. Otherwise it would be my very first interview for my top choice school. Do you guys think this is a good idea?? Or no? Thanks!

I would reschedule for the 19th. I made that mistake last cycle and now I am waiting this year because my first interview was really poor and I ended up with an acceptance off the wait list for the class of 2014 instead an acceptance for the class of 2013. After that first interview I was accepted to all 3 of the other schools I interviewed with and they were a breeze in comparison (In the end I withdrew for my first choice even though it was a deferred acceptance). Make sure you are ready for your first choice school and don't risk doing it first. A strong interview is more important than a early one, especially if it's only a week away from the original offer.

Just my 2 cents. Good luck 🙂

Reschedule if you can get it for the 19th, if you had to push back the interview like a month or something I wouldn't recommend it. Interviewing is a skill that definitely improves with practice.

The career center at my college offered a mock medical interviews WITH helpful feed back. Another great resource is a book called, "What you don't know can keep you out of college" by Don Dunbar. This has some great points from the interviewers perspective. Very Good! DO NOT RESCHEDULE!!!! early is better.
