Hi everyone

I am thinking about dropping my biochem 2 class this semester. I am currently taking 2 behavior science classes to meet a couple of schools' requirement as well. Originally, I thought about taking it since there is a school that strongly recommends it. However, looking at how much all the application process has costed me so far and will cost in a couple months (which is scary), I think I could use any extra money I can muster including that of the tuition for my biochem 2 class which I can get it back fully if I decide by the end of this week. Oh yeah, and I can save 100 bucks for the textbook and I won't be getting W in my transcript neither.

What do you guys think? should I drop it? would currently taking biochem 2 help me be accepted this year? would it look bad during the interview that I am only taking two beh science courses?

thanks in advnace

Why are you taking biochem II in the first place?

If it isn't a requirement in any way, then I don't see the downside to dropping it (unless you did poorly in your first biochem class and want to prove yourself with a better grade). You wouldn't even get a W.

Also yes
No, if you have a solid perfromance in the rest of your course. Financial need is a reality.

It will be looked upon favorably but will it make or break you? No.

Any school that accepts you with biochem 2 likely would've accepted you sans biochem 2.
