Last term of undergrad, I'm taking biochem II, genetics, an upper-level nonscience course for my major and retaking gen chem 1. I got a C- in it early my sophomore year and registered for it before the end of the grade replacement. Now that grade replacement is done and over with, is it worthwhile to still retake? Current AACOMAS uGPA is 3.02 and sGPA is 2.88 (got hit hard by end of grade replacement). If I get all A's this term without gen chem, it will go up to 3.06 and 2.95. With gen chem, 3.08c and 2.99s. Also studying for MCAT, shadowing, and volunteering. Worth it or should I drop it? It's not difficult, just time that could be spent elsewhere. However, I want as many A's for my sGPA as possible. Last day to drop without incurring a W on official transcript is tomorrow and I cannot decide!
