Im writing a letter of intent to a school I interviewed at. I don't know whether to add it as the body of the email, send it as an attachment, or mail it to the school. Any input/advice would be appreciated! Thanks!

Then if you feel compelled to write an LOI, send it as a PDF attachment. Make sure to specifically address why you prefer that school. Be honest about it. Geography, fit, etc. are good reasons. Higher ranking is not.

Write it up, format it nicely, and include it as an attachment in the email. Everything is done nowadays via email, with the added benefit that it won't get physically lost. In the body of the email, ask nicely for their confirmation that they've received it.
