Hi all,

I'm currently a senior majoring in medicinal chemistry. i have a decent GPA, around 3.5 and i'm thinking about applying to LIU for pharmacy school. the only problem is that there is no way i can get into the human anatomy class. will LIU overlook my application because i'm missing ONE prereq? Should i even apply? any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Definitely apply... you can always take anatomy in the spring or summer.

it doesnt hurt to apply. and as the above person mentioned..you can alway take it in the spring or summer and if not at your college...you can probably take it at a CC before you enter pharm school....i havent applied to any pharm schools but im thinking that u make sure you put the human anatomy course somewhere in your planned courses to take (?? if they even have that section) just so they know you plan on taking that pre-req.........correct me if im wrong if they dont have that section on the app.

since its a cali school, they mainly look at wheather or not you have bs.

I applied there but they said the acceptance rate this year was 2% for out-of-state applicants. I wanted to go there so bad too. Last year it was 10%. My it dropped a lot. And fast.
