Your GPA and practice MCAT score are not bad either. You have a year; so study and take it. Kaplan prep course or practice books (lot of it) are a nice start
You can compensate by scoring high on MCAT (like 33+). Plus I don't think 3.6 is all that different from 3.7; I think medical schools know not everyone is perfect 4.0
