Hi SDN, I'd like some advice on whether it's worth it or not to apply to UW. I think I can finish my application in the next day or two, but their deadline is 10/1. Is it worth it to apply so close to the deadline? Do you think they would still consider me for a potential interview spot?

I'm assuming you're from Oregon. UW has a pretty small class size and is notoriously OOS unfriendly. Couple that with the fact that you are so close to the deadline and I do not think it is worth it - completely your call though. How many schools have you already applied to, and of those how many interviews do you have?
