For one thing, you don't know that you won't get accepted, particularly if you finish a B.S. at a 4-year school with a better than a 3.0!

I unequivocally think you should get a 4-year degree. In this landscape of pharmacy, you need to have the best tools at your disposal, and with your young age, you have nothing but time.

I certainly think so, yes.

A bachelor's degree from a research university would most certainly come in handy were you applying to a traditional graduate program (As the ability to do extensive research afforded to you at, say, UC Davis, will certainly be greater than at CSU Sacramento) but is diminished when you're looking at professional programs.

Not to say a UC would be horrible. But in this instance, I believe a CSU would be equivalent, PARTICULARLY if your GPA is great and you take part in many ECs to round yourself out.

If I were you, I would apply after finishing all the pre-reqs, but still keep going to school. So if you get in, then you saved some time, if you don't, then you will get a bachelor's degree.
