Hi All,
An opportunity kind of landed in my lap to work as a grader with a teacher I really love. This professor also conducts quite a bit of research and I think becoming a grader may be a good way to open up some research opportunities. The problem is that I haven't been at my current job for a year yet, and I really wanted to stay here for a year before leaving as it's good clinical experience (I work as a CNA in a dementia care facility). What do you guys think will appear better on my med school applications? Should I stick it out at my current job for a little while longer (it'll be a year in two months), or take the position as a grader at the university? I'm worried about appearing flighty or non-committed to my work by leaving after less than a year.
