I am a rising junior and am planning to start studying for the MCAT this summer. I am going to take the MCAT spring semester as I have not taken physics yet. Do you guys recommend that I get both sets since I have so much time in advance? I found someone who is willing to sell me both sets for $250. Is this a good deal?

Sounds like a great deal. The TBR set will run you over 300 if you buy from them directly and the books are amazing. They retain their resale value, so you can sell them back for a decent price when you're finished using them. I don't know about TPRH, but the verbal workbook seems to go for a lot, so if you can get that, you're getting a great bang for your buck and also getting invaluable resources.

which set is better and how should I use the books because I have both sets and I don't know what to do. for instance should I read br for content or Princeton review. I also have the ek bio, 1001 series(4), and 101 verbal.

I would read a bit of both and see which you like better. TBR is very time consuming with a lot of unneeded details. You may like this or may not. I haven't used TPRH, so just check it out.

make sure you use the passages in TBR.

also use EK Bio, BR bio is waayyyy tooo detailed and time consuming

OP, I am also using both sets of books. BUT, I am primarily going to be using BR for gen chem and physics and ochem and TPR for bio and verbal, while doing all of the passages from the BR books. Don't use all of the books for review, you will be doing too much. Just pick a book for each subject and utilize the practice material from all of them.
