Should I go to Case interview in Feb??

I've applied to 7 schools and got two interviews at Case and Indiana on Feb 24 and 15. I'm going to Indiana one but what should I do with Case?
I know Indiana's post December interviews are for alternate positions, but how about Case? Am I going to be competing for a waitlist spot?

I've already seen doc tooth's post about post-December interviews but I still want to hear from others.
It sure is depressing to have only 2 interviews and they are all post-December. Maybe I need to try again next year with a better DAT score.

You should go! You have already spent the money to apply. Not going would be wasting that money! The school wouldn't have invited you if they know they absolutely have no spots left.

I'm surprised you didnt get an interview sooner. You have a great GPA and a solid DAT. Was your app completed late or something?

Thanks everyone for replying.
My application was completed and mailed out on July 31.
I'm guessing that is kinda late. Maybe it's because I'm a computer programmer and they don't think I'm serious?
I really hope I get in this year. It was hard to do this while working full time, and I don't want to do it again next year.
I bought my plane ticket to Indiana this afternoon. I guess I'll buy one to Cleveland too. But I want to wait 'til like maybe the first week of January and try to reschedule to an earlier date if they have something open.
What's $350 when you've already spent over $1k, right?
I guess I was just a little depressed with a rejection letter from Upenn and a "HOLD" letter from Marquette.

Go to both!!
You have an amazing profile and great scores, the only possible reason i can think of for your not getting any pre-december interview is your major. You are a computer science student. Who knows, dental admission is a crapshoot.

I would definitely go to the interviews if I were you. Like other's said, you paid for this, so take advantage of it. Also, many people cancel Case interviews b/c they're so late in the game. Supposedly Case fills their class through May.

On a side note, lack of interviews may have had something to do with your LORs and Personal statement. If you do end up having to reapply, I would try to figure out which you think it was. DId your LOR writers know you personally? Is it possible you said something wrong in your personal statement?

I let my friends and brother in dental school to read my personal statement, and they thought it was good. Perhaps it's my LORs. I had 4 letters. One is from my computer science thesis advisor whom I've known for 6 years. He likes me so I think he wrote me a nice letter. Now the other three letters I don't really know. Because ADEA do not consider Computer Science as a science field. I had to get one from Biology, Chemistry and physics professors whom I barely knew. I figured since I was top of their classes they are going to write me strong, moving LORs.

Maybe it's not even my LORs. Who knows? Like one person said, it's a crapshoot!

I'm just praying that I don't have to study for DAT again next year.

Btw, anyone going to Indiana on Feb 15 or Case on Feb 24??
Where is a good place to stay for Case interview? Somewhere affordable and close enough so I can maybe walk to my interview.

Also.. haha The DAT is good for three years, so you won't have to take it next year again. But your scores are pretty solid and so is your GPA. I wouldn't retake it.

That might very well be your problem right there. Although im pretty sure it is required for a couple schools on yor list if im not mistaken, its bettter to have a LOR from a dentist.
