Some people are telling me to put what I learned from each experience while others say it is not needed. Should I include this in my description or not?

Some people are telling me to put what I learned from each experience while others say it is not needed. Should I include this in my description or not?

I only described each experience including general overviews of the tasks I performed and highlighted what skills I developed along the way without explicitly saying “I learned that blah blah was important to blah blah.” I just provided the info necessary for the adcom’s to understand what I contributed to the experience.
