Im a graduate doing a bit of post bacc work. Im taking a microbio class and I find the professor to be excessively anal about most of the things in the course. My GPA is alright 3.4 for both sGPA and my cGPA. I'm taking one other class which is a breeze. My MCAT lags a bit behind though (and I would rather dedicate the time to that IF this class is meaningless to adcoms for the most part).

Tbh the only reason I didnt drop on day 1 was the nurses 😉 but yeah, just looking for an outside opinion.

Microbiology will be useful for you down the road, I would wager. It's a good class to put down when you're filling out the ever-annoying prereqs page for each school on AACOMAS, and it's just generally very useful. You may not like the prof, but I'm sure you've had worse. If you need the class, stick with it. I'm sure you'll do just fine. Micro is an upper level biology class and I imagine adcoms wouldn't mind seeing it on an app.

Also, the nurses. Do it for the nurses. Nurses are their own kind of fun, should you manage to make one your study partner.

A W will NOT be lethal.
