Hello!

My high school in Kentucky had us buy 3rd Edition CliffNotes AP Biology books. I've seen that this book is integral to most DAT study plans at the present(it's a solid resource, it helped get me the 4 that I got on the AP Biology exam).

I wouldn't take the DAT until at least two years from now(having it done before junior year would be optimal so that I'm not delaying my application for a test score), so that would put it in Winter or Summer Break of my sophomore year.

Do you think that the CliffNotes book will still be a viable resource when I have to take the DAT? Obviously, I only want to buy a book once if I'm going to use it again.

I think you should keep it. Not much of the Biology stuff has changed since the 1960s except some of the biochemistry stuff which is not going to be on the DAT anyways.

That does make sense, and I've already kept it for a year, so it can't hurt to hold on to it for a little while longer. Thank you for your response!

Cliff AP Bio is super helpful for the DAT. It's probably going to be your main study source for Bio, in addition to KBB and Destroyer. Don't see why you would feel a need to get rid of it anyways; it's always a valuable resource to have around. Maybe I'm just saying that because I'm a bio major.
