What books should I keep after the class is over? Will I need my textbooks while studying for step 1?

Specifically asking about biochem as I'm about to sell them. Should I at least hold on to Lippincotts and Pre-Test?

I'd hold onto Lippincotts. It's a decent concise reference to have.

I'll keep mine. They mean to me all my hard work and I can always consult my highlights.

You are likely not going to need textbooks but keep them and get rid of them when you are done with USMLE Step I study. If holding on to these books puts your mind at ease then keep them. You can always get rid of them later.

i shared my books with those who were going to take the same classes i had...
