My mom has written 5 educational books that teach children the Arabic language. They aren't formally published or anything, but she does print them and sell them to local Arabic schools. I edit these books and am an illustrator for a few of them as well. Can I list this as a hobby? I don't get paid obviously just helping out my mom. It's not really a huge time commitment either so I wouldn't even know what to put for the number of hours.

If I should list it, can I lump it together under hobbies with playing piano?

I would find a way to include that if you can, because that sounds super interesting and cool. It sounds like it would fit under hobbies, but I'm not an expert in what goes in which category. I defer to people who have filled out the application more recently and know more about what goes where. But I vote you put it in your application.
