The only school experience that I had was some high school and uni. I believe I have fully caught up with other pre-meds, but might be lacking some reading skills. I have a very long story but in short, I lived in different countries that didn't take refugees in their schools

Does this relate to your reason for choosing medicine as a career? If yes, then include it.
Do you think that this created a disadvantage for you as you moved along into college? If so, consider checking the disadvantaged box and writing a paragraph about it.

Your birthplace and your parents' most recent educational institution attended will be on the application so adcoms will have an idea that you were born abroad and they may recognize the country as one that people have fled in the last few decades so even if you don't mention it, they will read between the lines.

How was your CARS section?

How did you score well on the MCAT without strong reading skills ?

Hey everybody. Haven't used online forums before. You are right I found the answer half way writing my first post, you guys are super funny. I always try my best to be as honest as possible. I am reading more often now, but I think I'm solid on most of the science subjects. I did not do terrible on CARS section but I can see improvements.
