I have been put on hold at PCO which is the only school i applied to because that's the only school i want to go to.
The want me to take the OAT again and said my gpa was fine (3.00) i had 4 scores below 300. i am however retaking it in mid January. I think that will probably be to late during the cycle and their class will be almost full and it will be more competitive.
so im preparing my self for the worst, I don't want to keep my hopes up and end up getting rejected.

If I were you I would apply to more schools ASAP. just my opinion even if you have one school in mind. Suiciding is not a good idea with lower stats.

rejection is always an option. you should definitely prepare for it.

If you can't achieve minimal scores on the OAT, how can you possibly believe you will be able to pass Optometry school?

And, why don't you just retake the OAT?

I am re-taking it because now i know what my weak points are, but i cant write it again till mid January and by that time it's going to be more competitive and even harder to get a seat.

Did you talk with PCO directly? Tell them about your concerns and that PCO is the only school you want to attend. Think positive!

Take it and hope for the best but unless you really blow it out of the water, you might be better off next year.
