should i push my test back or not

k heres the deal, im currently scheduled to take it in bout 8 days....i feel like if i take it i will get it a 19 in sciences, and prob a 17 in both pat and math....but i feel like if i reschedule till the end of sept then i can prob higher my grade to a 20...wat do u guys think...should i reschedule or would i be too late in the cycle

my mentality on it is that id rather be ready and take it once rather then go through all this studying again and have to take it twice. Are you applying this cycle? If youre saying that you feel like you can get a 20+ if you wait another month, then I would do it.

Take the test when you feel you are most ready. No point in wasting another $190 and waiting 3months when you can pay $25 and push it back a little more. This all depends on if you are applying this cycle or not.

i am applyin this cycle but my application is already in.....im startin school on sept 2 and kinda wanna jus get the dat over with but in the same time i feel like if i push my test back i can get a higher grade....so if i take it at the end of sept that is pretty late in the cycle huh...i really dont no wat to do

I'm in the same exact situation...D day is on the 27th for me, the only difference is that school starts on the 25th of August for me, but honestly, Im sooo not ready! I think I'm going to push my test back atleast a week and try to increase my test by 1 point! I'm gonna take a Topscore practice test on thursday and base my decision off of that. Good luck though, I know how crappy it is to be at this point in the cycle with your app already in and not be ready for the DAT. But the goal should be to take this test once and only once. I would hate to go through this whole process of studying again! GL
