If I do an Engineering internship at a firm (lets say environmental or oil & gas) and/or do some research in a field not related to pharmaceuticals, should I still put that experience on my application?😕

Hell yes you should. I definitely would. It's a great conversation starter, and it shows you're someone who was motivated in their previous field.

I did some division-level training (nuclear power plant personnel) and made sure to mention it on mine.

For sure. Speaking for myself, if I were an adcom member seeing something that deviated from the typical biology/chemistry lockstep history most apps present would pique my interest for sure.

I'd definitely put it on your app if I were you, but just make it clear that your main career interest is definitely pharmacy if they bring it up.
