Hey guys, I really need some advice on whether I should re-take the DAT. I took it in mid-September of the application cycle and applied right after I got my scores (kinda late I know). I have a 3.84 overall GPA and a science GPA of 3.67.

I got a 19AA 21TS 19QR 16RC and 16PAT. Should I just re-apply for next cycle on the day it opens with these scores?I volunteered at a hospital and I have shadowing experience already. What should I do? I already got rejections from UB, NYU, and UMDNJ, but I think its because I applied late. I really don't want to take the DATs over 🙁

So I should re-apply for next cycle with these scores and take advanced science courses throughout the year?

do a post bacc

That has to be the worst advice I've ever heard. His gpa is high enough, how's a post-bacc going to get the admissions office past the 16's in what are regarded to be pretty important sections on the DAT?

Retake or roll the dice and apply early. Call the schools and get their input. Don't throw your money away on a 1-yr masters or post bacc

You have the time, retake the test kick some ass and apply early this time. Don't waste time on and Post Bacc programs. Like Tunaman said, your GPA is stellar and only people with lackluster GPA should do post bacc.

Your DAT score isn't actually too bad were it not for RC and PAT being extremely important. If you can bring those up to ~19-20 while retaining the rest of your scores, you'd have VERY competitive stats.

What schools would you suggest I apply to if I apply early with these scores and gpa? And if you can tell me, what would be the advantage of applying on the day the cycle opens...chances for interview/acceptance?
