Should I reschedule my DAT ?

Hello all,

Im currently signed up to take the DAT on August 26th however im really in a bubble if I should reshedule it to some time during winter break , mid December.

Ive been studying since the beginning of June using dentalWorks sample study schedule and im just a few days behind schedule however I should be prepared to take it on the 26th

The thing is during this upcoming Fall semester, Ill be taking Orgo II, Cell biology and Anatomy which i hear is very supplementary in studying for the DAT.

Should I take my DAT on August 26th or reschedule it after the Fall semester when im done taking Orgo II, cell bio and anatomy?

Cliffs and practice tests (from Qvault, Topscore, etc.) are good enough for biology. Orgo II however is crucial for the DAT because most of the reactions are from there BUT if you watch chad's and buy orgo II for dummies book, you could be ready by August 26th assuming you are on pace with dentalWorks study schedule. I am assuming you are not applying this cycle. (if you are then you have to take it August or you are killing your chances)

Ultimately its up to you and how you feel after going through practice tests and if you feel like you understand Chad's OC vids but I would try to take it August or even EARLY Septemeber because you already put in the time to study for it. FOR ME, if I waited that long, I would have to re-study all the subjects again since I forget a lot easily (especially BIO).
