Should i retake a course ?

My first semester in undergrad, i took a course called "Science and society" (3 credit course)
i got a D+ 🙁


now i am a junior and that D+ is haunting me. If i never took that class, my gpa would be 0.1 higher :cry:


should i retake ?

my univ. has a grade forgiveness policy, if i retake and get a higher grade, they remove that old grade in exchange for the new one. but that doesn't work for dental school does it ?

Dental schools count both grades. So it will boost your gpa, but not by that much.

I wouldn't recommend retaking since it's not a pre-req. It'd be better to take some core science classes & do well in them to offset that grade.
