Hello!
I am now an official permanent resident with an international BS degree in chemistry and with a PhD ( I have 6 publications) also in chemistry from a top Texas school. (Now a Texan!) I am currently working as a scribe for recommendation letter.
I retook all prerequisites but chemistry classes since Texas requires all prerequisites taking within US. (On master situation it is common that graduate classes usually don't count, but PhD applicant for med school is very rare.)
I am struggling right now should I retake chemistry classes then apply to all Texas med school? or just waiting for class waiver? (There are 6 schools saying it's fine, but some schools rejected waiver, and some schools don't give feed back.) Anybody has similar experience with me?
I thought it will be super dumb showing on a general chemistry class saying I am taking this class due to medical school.
Thank you very much for your opinion!
