Hello all, this is my second post on here and going off the response of my first one, everyone is so kind and helpful!!

Anyhow, I’m going down the diy postbacc route after getting rejected from the one I applied to because of my less than good sGPA and overall lack of science courses. My overall GPA was 3.34 while my sGPA was 3.03.

The science courses I took were:
  • General Biology I (B-)
  • General Biology II (C+)
  • Anatomy & Physiology I (A)
  • Anatomy & Physiology II (A-)
  • General Chem I (retook once, ended up with a C+)
  • General Chem I lab (B+)
  • General Chem II (B)
  • General Chem II lab (B-)
I feel like it’s a waste of time retaking any of these courses and I should instead focus on getting high marks on the upper level science courses I’m planning on taking, but what do you all think? Any advice/input would be greatly appreciated!!

Thank you ^-^ !!

Curious too, also I never took anatomy or physiology... should I?

Anatomy & Physiology is typically NOT a prerequisite for medical schools. For prereq's, think Chem, O Chem, Bio, Physics, Biochemistry, and some amount of math and writing. Schools may occasionally require psych / sociology. Very rarely do they require anatomy & physiology if at all. They might say it's "strongly recommended" along with genetics and maybe some other courses but it's reasonable to get in without it. You learn anatomy & physiology IN medical school, not before it.

Do you know which post bacc program I can get into that will grant me those prereqs?

We know what they mean by "strongly recommended". Hint: Most people are going to do it and you will now have another thing to be compared for.
