Should I retake GRE??

Could you guys please advice if I should retake GRE?

My GRE scores Quant: 800, Verbal: 390, AW: 3
GPA Overall: 3.5, Pre-req GPA: 3.6

Let me know please.....

I wish I could of gotten a quant that high. Just curious, but is your background not e.science/bio? Lol

Your verbal is low but you should really push to get the AW score a little higher. Keep in mind you will be taking the new version of the GRE and your scores won't be reported until, I think, November.

I am a Biology major and Chemistry minor, I think the reason I got low in Verbal and AW is because I am multilingual...

I think my question really would be that do they particularly look at Verbal and AW more and do pt schools look at GRE more than GPA...give me suggestions please

Some schools have minimum requirements for each section, such as 450 minimum or 4 AW. Check each school you're interested in to see if they have these bottom limits.

Depends on the program. Some do have bottom limits of around 500 for each section, others don't care as long as you have 1000 total. If they DO care, however, and you DON'T meet that cold, hard requirement, then they will just take your application money and throw your file away. It sucks, but it's true.
