GPA: (bioengineering major)
-cGPA: 3.64 (upward trend; 3.3 -> 3.9)
-sGPA: 3.56
MCAT 2015
-PHYS: 82-97%
-CARS: 76-91%
-BIO: 85-100%
-PSY: 27-42%
-Overall: 71-81% (assuming 76%, 508)

I'm stuck on whether I should retake. I think I did pretty well on the first three sections, but obviously I got my butt kicked by the Psych/Soc section. Do I risk retaking and not doing as well on the other sections just to try and make up for the Psych/Soc? What are medical schools gonna think when they see that big of a gap in subsections?

~50 hours- neuro, ENT, cardio, anesthesia, general
Extracurriculars:
-20 hours a week of intercollegiate athletics, all 4 years, year-round
-Exec. position in student organization

-Assistant coach one year, head coach the next for a summer league team
-Lifeguard 2 summers
-Diving lessons instructor: year-round, 2 years
Letters of Rec.:

Schools:
In-state:
Ohio State
Cinci
Toledo
Wright State

OOS:

Wisconsin-Madison
Wisconsin-Milwaukee (Medical College of Wisconsin)
Minnesota-Duluth
UI-Chicago
Drexel
Michigan State

So, assuming my application isn't hopeless, any thoughts on where else I should think about sending my app?

You should receive interviews but need to apply to a large number of schools with your MCAT score. Wisconsin, Michigan State, Minnesota and UI-Chicago are state public schools that accept few OOS applicants with your MCAT. Your best bet are your Ohio schools and add Northeast Ohio. Also consider adding:
Quinnipiac
Albany
NYMC
Penn State
Temple
Jefferson
Commonwealth (PA)
Oakland Beaumont
Western Michigan
Loyola
Rosalind Franklin
St. Louis
Creighton
Tulane
Vermont
California Northstate
Also apply to several DO schools since there is no guarantee of a MD acceptance with your stats.
