518 is the 95th percentile with a confidence interval that overlaps 520.
There is no advantage to re-taking that score, only risk.

Adcoms abhor perfectionism. Do NOT retake a near perfect 518 score.

I retook a similar score (517 -> 52x) and it definitely made a difference in my cycle. Granted I applied MD-only so your situation could be different
