I'm pretty new here. I took my DAT today 8/24/2011 and it was pretty bad, I couldn't sleep until midnight and got up around 3AM and couldn't fall asleep again. Long story short, I wasn't feeling well, and I accidentally left my glasses at home too ;(

shadowed dmd/dds/md
went on immersion trips
have over 1000 volunteering hours at local hospitals

20AA is bad? I thought the average score is around 17-18

Well I was averaging around 22 on CRACK PAT but probably because I couldn't focus without my glasses 🙁 and I was so HUNGRY 🙁 I can't function when I'm hungry 😳

But I know that my RC is only 17, English is my second language and I'm just a slow reader in general... will 17 hurt me?

Dude, if your AA is "bad", then about 85% of the people who are applying are in a bad situation.

I wouldn't retake if I were you. A 20AA is good and with a 3.8 gpa you are golden. If your gpa was like 3.2 or something then I might consider a retake but its not so....

I seriously hate posts like these

👍

Oh my god I got a 20 AA, and close to a 4.0 GPA, should I retake?

Worry more about getting laid my friend.

Hell no you dont need a retake. Those are solid scores. And even if you did have average scores (which you DONT), your GPA would def make up for it.

haha
not a 4.0,
so many others got like 21, 22,
dang PAT 19 ;(
i heard most schools care a lot about PAT??

calm down you overachiever!! :prof:

if you retake, do you think you can hit that high on the sciences again?
you have near perfect gpa, a very good dat... don't worry about a 17. With your stats a 17 is nothing. of course I think you really knew all this before even posting this thread....

i heard of the averages lol, but also heard that they care about RC, but i guess it's good to get some opinions etc

bio was random so no comment, but gc and oc were pretty doable, i was surprised gc was higher than oc, i was expecting oc to be higher but oh well :/
