Hi. Here is my advice, take it for what its worth.
Your GPA is low, with the applications close to 3.4-3.5 average, yours falls below that. Now you have solid DAT scores, especially your sciences, so good job on that.
I would continue doing what you have to, finish off the year, apply and see how it goes. Have a backup and yours seems to be working so thats cool.
I would also take classes that would help boost your GPA. Any elective, science based, whatever you are good at to bring that GPA up. As for the DAT, your chances of doing lower than your first time is high, as statistics have shown. That decision to retake is up to. Do more of other things, volunteering, research, EC, working, all that stuff to make your application as competitive as possible so that any other aspects that may appear weak are not as important any more.
