Hey everyone i took the DAT in May and my 90 days is coming up so im contemplating retaking the dat.

PA: 19
QR: 18
RC: 18
GC: 18
OC: 17
BIO: 15 (Killed me and I didnt think Bio was going to be that hard.)
AA: 17

I am from michigan so im applying to U of M and U of D and some others include Indiana Marquette Penn Buffalo Case Western Louisville and Kentucky. My GPA is a 3.79 and my science GPA is 3.8.

I was wondering if I should retake it?

Have you studied and prepared for those 90 days?

Otherwise, no! And yes, you will have to re-take it, your bio score is the limiting factor.

Yes, your bio is too low. The rest of the scores are competitive scores with your GPA besides perhaps OC, which would look better if it was 18+

what is the best tool for studying for bio i used Kaplan blue book before and it doesn't seemed like it helped?

Read the thousands of breakdowns available on this forum (some on the front page right now). Use those materials.

read the dat guidelines first and then go through what will be covered on kbb or cliffs or wikipedia or destoyer

Does your school hand out a lot of 4.0s?

No my school doesnt hand out a lot of 4.0's i just study real hard i made the mistake of only studying for 30 days before my test because i had finals to worry about before that 😳

Buy cliff's or baron's AP bio.

Read through the entire book. Make sure you pay attention to the details.

About 4 days before the test, re-read it.

This is what I did.

BIO 22.

NP, hope it helps.

The section is very broad. Topics that I thought would definitely be on there, weren't.

yea I only used KBB and i thought i knew the biology in that very well and the stuff that came up on the test was not in there
