I took the DAT in late May, which would give me time to retake if I decided to do so. My Scores were:

AA- 19
TS- 19
OC- 17
GC- 20
Bio- 20
RC- 21
QR- 19
PAT- 18

My overall gpa is 3.55 and my science gpa is 3.44.

In your guys' opinion, will these scores be competitive for this cycle, or would a retake be beneficial?

I think you're good, but expect everyone on this site to say you need a 32+ to get in.... Lol
Yeah, I'd say go ahead and get higher than the highest score on your DAT retake. (Not really) I would give it a shot for now. And if nothing happens this cycle, then you may want to consider it. A 19 is still competitive in my opinion, of course a 22 is more competitive. The 19 is right at most schools average for enrollment. Good luck!!

hahaha. I dont feel like a 19 is a bad score, but after seeing a bunch of 22+'s on here, it got me a little worried and I started wondering if I should retake. I applied to 10 schools, including my in-state school, so hopefully my scores will be good enough.

I'm currently in a similar dilemma. I just took my DAT for the first time (AA-19, PAT-22, TS-19 (Ochem-17, Bio-23, Gchem-19), QR-17 and RC-21). I graduated in May with a double major (Human Bio, Psychology), with a 3.69 overall GPA and a 3.54 science GPA. Since then I've been working as a dental assistant. I am going to be applying this summer for 2015.

I am curious, how did your application cycle go? Where did you apply? Where did you or did not get accepted? What do you suggest for someone in my situation?
