PAT 21+

RC 18
bio/chem/ochem 20+ each
TS20
AA21

dat RC score scares me 🙁

shoudl i consider retaking for this cycle?

Your RC score is not low. Don't worry about it. Apply early and have a strong personal statement.

An 18 is not "bad" and a 21 AA is a good score. That being said, if your GPA is a 2.6 I think you'd need an AA of around ~24 to "try" and offset that GPA. :scared:

Your DAT is fine. You may want to consider a masters or postbacc to raise your GPA. DAT can only offset a low GPA so much.

I think it's 50-50. Your dat score seems competitive as it is but gpa might cause you a problem
If you can retake and score 23+ on AA and better on RC, i would try that ASAP.
But retaking and score releasing would take some time and your app might be considered late for this cycle.
Since you are talking about this cycle, it's too late to raise your gpa through postbac or masters program( this would be best option for next cycle)

my advsior told me to retake since my GPA is 2.6

you should probably retake it if you think you can improve ALL of your sections significantly (+3 points) given that you have a low gpa. if you don't think you can improve it significantly, don't retake.

your gpa is quite low, even if you got all 24+ it might be hard to get in anywhere. do you have any prereqs left you could do a postbacc with an improve gpa? consider 1-2 quarters of microbiology, 1-3 quarters of anatomy/physiology, 1-2 quarters biochemistry.
