I've been pretty set on pre-dental since my senior year of high school, but I just don't know if my grades are good enough. I've been doing pretty well in my classes this semester except for one: genetics. In order to end the class with an 80%, I have to get a 100% on the final exam. I talked to my professor about it and she said that there's no way I can score that high. So now, I don't know if I should retake it. If I do retake it, I'm not sure I can squeeze it in next semester on top of calc I, chem II/lab, anatomy and phys/lab, and music appreciation (should be a simple class.) Opinions??? Also don't know if I should retake bio I from my freshman year this summer. Would it be a waste of time ??? I'm currently a sophomore.

Here are my stats:

Freshman
- College Algebra: A
- Sociology: A
- General Bio I: C+
- General Bio I Lab: A
- Foundations of Chem: A
- Core Comp I: A
- Sociology/Freshman Seminar: A
- General Bio II: A-
- General Bio II Lab: B+
- General Chem I: B
- General Chem I Lab: A
- Core Comp II: A
- Psychology: A

I suggest you focus on studying for the final as much as possible. If you end up with a C or C+ its not the end of the world. Try to continue to do well in your other upper level courses. I did not even take Genetics and got 6 interview invites. I don't think its that important of a course for dental school.
