The 17 RC will throw a lot of red flags to schools. You'd prolly get in to a few expensive private schools, but to be safe, I'd retake and push hard on the RC improvement (but keep that chemistry up! well done!)

Personally, don’t even worry about it. If your app is reasonably competitive that’s more than good

I think you're ok. You seem to be on the average of accepted students at most schools in the U.S or slightly below.

I had a 20 AA and a 21 TS with a 17 RC, I wouldn't be too worried. I would apply broadly though.

Solid scores! I spoke with the assistant dean at UNMC and he mentioned that they do look at reading comprehension when evaluating applicants. Other schools will vary though, so I would email schools your considering and ask if the 17 RC would make an impact to your application.
