Probably not. It’s not like undergrad. But apply and see what happens.

I agree with above, don’t retake, a 517 is amazing

I would highly recommend not retaking a 517 which is an incredible score and above the average for many amazing medical schools. If your goal is t30s or t40s, you will be more than fine with a 517 even with that distribution/low CARS score. It's hard to tell regarding scholarships since it is so school dependent that only the admissions committee would be able to tell you that information but typically financial aid is offered to all students who are eligible/qualify for it.
