Hi,

I am thinking if I should retake b/c my RC score is slightly below the competitive score. Although I took the Canadian DAT, I am actually aiming for US schools (Boston U, Tufts, Case Western, Pacific, USC). Any advices will be highly appreciated!

I don't speak from experience but I think you should be fine. I am also in the same situation as you and applying to some of those schools that you listed 😛 At least they can't say we lack manual dexterity skills 🙂

Hey guys
I am Canadian too
I took both US and Canadian DAT
really depends on your GPA, if you have like 3.5 and above
21 on DAT should be ok
some US schools really prefer US DAT over Canadian ones
ie UoP

I have a GPA of 3.2 which I know it's not a very competitive score for US schools but I am hoping that this DAT score will improve my application.

hsia2: I am surprised to hear some US schools prefer US DAT over Canadian DAT. Before I took the DAT, I was struggling to decide whether to take the US or Canadian DAT. But the schools I called said they accept either one. Which schools are you referring to that have this preference?

I am not sure about others
My GPA is around 3.3/ DAT=22
and I am accepted this year
I am pretty sure you will be fine
