Hi! I applied to a school that only accepts a certain number of updates/letters during the entire cycle. I interviewed about a month ago and only have one upload left, and was wondering if it would be better to send a letter of intent (with some updates, the biggest one being securing $$$ in a grant application for a non-profit) now or after the initial A/R/WL decisions are released? I'm worried I won't get the chance to send a LOI if I'm rejected, but also know that LOIs are generally more impactful after being WL. Any advice would be appreciated- much thanks!

I get the alternative thinking: if you get rejected, at least you told them what happened. If you don't, you really can't use the remaining upload.

To answer your question, LOIs have marginal if any impact. You need to read
