I'm currently WL at my top choice school. I sent an update letter before getting the interview invitation, thank you letter and combined letter of intent/update after the interview, and then an update letter/letter of intent combination after I was waitlisted.
I recently received a couple of awards for my research program that I'm in since then and was wondering if I could use this to send an additional update letter before WL movement hopefully starts next week, or if that's overkill (its a Pioneer Award and Mentorship Award).
Are these significant-enough updates (that would also be more recent since I haven't had any correspondence with them since late march) or because I have already sent updates/letters of intent throughout the cycle and after the decision, I should just leave it be?
