Should I start an online post-bacc?

So I applied in the 25-26 cycle to 29 MD programs and yielded 0 interviews unfortunately.

My main concern with my application was a school list that was a bit too ambitious, and a GPA that was a little low. I will paste my 2025-26 school list in the comments for further context, but it was definitely ambitious.

Anyway, last cycle I applied with about a 3.3 sGPA and just below a 3.4 cGPA, however, I held about a 3.7 in my last 60 credits of mostly upper division sciences. My MCAT was a 516, but Casper was 1Q and preview was low as well.

My EC's are the strongest part of my app and I have focused on them the most during my gap year.

Is it too late to start an online post bacc? It there any value in taking courses online? I am hesitant to start this late if 12ish credits will not yield any significant benefits to my app. I appreciate any thoughts and help. I know UNE does 8 week online courses I could finish before the primary opens.

You have a number of public schools on your list that are not very OOS-friendly. Rosalind Franklin is a good call. Your GPA is a bit of a pill, but you could also look at SLU and VCU.

I forgot what your state of residence was.

I don't think an online postbac is going to help you. You redacted your full profile with activities and hours, and any plan you have should include increasing both clinical and service orientation hours. The low SJTs suggest to me that you need more social skills and navigation in an academic environment, which an online postbac won't give you.

Your last WAMC indicated you had no service hours. I am not surprised you did not get any interviews then. That likely won't change MD wise for this cycle, but you may get some DO interest if you started something recently now.

No II from your own state school? I fear you may have a bad LOR, weak ones.
Rewrite all your essays and have multiple eyeballs vet them.

Forget about an online postbac.

Do an SMP hosted by an MD school if you're boning for the MD.
