So I applied late July 2011 to about 14 schools and till to this day, I still have not received any interview invites and I am starting to think that I should start prepping for the next cycle.

My stats are
GPA: 3.0 overall
DAT: 21TS 19AA 21PAT
and....an average amount of experience.

It is march and to get no interviews is kinda depressing and this is my second time applying. I'm thinking that a 16 on my QR and 17 on RC really hurt me but should I retake the DAT for next cycle and apply? or do I still have some time to apply to post bac? I think the latter is a little late into the cycle bc most post bac programs app deadline is on april 1st. (SFSU)

Any suggestions and advice would be greatly appreciated. ThankS!!

PS: still waiitng on UCLA (prob a long shot), USC, BU

sigh...might have to retake for the 3rd time. It's usually the QR and RC that brings me down. I feel like sciences are not too bad. I might just apply to both post bac and for the upcoming cycle. 3rd times the charm? I feel like since I'm volunteering at clinics and soon will be working in a dental office, I don't have the advantage of saying how long I worked at these two places. decisions decisions....

did u just graduate undergrad with a 3.0 science? were u a bio major?
you should most likley postbacc and raise your gpa.
have u taken upper level sciences like immuno histo physio anatomy etc? take them in your postbacc. id do an informal postbacc if i were u. or just do a masters......
your dat might be a problem like u said, but its more likley then not, your below average gpa holding u back

Change your method for the RC section because that section is not as hard as people make it. Take quick and dirty notes on key terms, methods, facts, etc and take note of what paragraph it is in. Most of the questions should be straight forward unless you're reading and not understanding a word in it.
