Hey Guys,

I submitted PharmCAS a while ago but haven't finished the supplementals for UOP or Western and I know both do rolling admissions. My GPA is pretty low (3.1) but PCAT score is above 90th with great letters and extracurs. Should I even send in the supplemental so late? What are the chances of getting in so late? Thanks.

Why not? If pharmacy is really what you want to do, then you need to go for it. You have a way better chance of getting in if you send them in than if you decide not to. 😉 Quit worrying about your GPA, send them in, and see what happens.

it's really not late at all. It's actually pretty early to apply even for rolling admissions. I've gotten 3 interview invites already with that exact gpa, so dont give up!!! lol

I wasn't able to submit my supplementals until the week before the deadline last year due to ED status. I still got interviews at USC and Western. They were late in the cycle, but received nonetheless and accepted to both. So yes, you can still apply this year and expect to have your application reviewed and a chance at an interview. Now is certainly better than later.

It's not even October yet, so you are still not too late. Your GPA is below average but acceptable if you can show that you excel elsewhere. For example, that PCAT score helps for some schools.

Well I am in a similar situation also, actually I haven't done my pharmcas and non of the LOR or supplemental questions. I am applying for rolling admission schools, but I still have like organic II and calc left for pre-req course. I am currently taking calc and will take organic II in the spring. Is it too late to apply or am I SOL for the school year of 2008..Suggestions!!!!

You have to see how well you did in your other pre-reqs and your extra-cur and pharm experience. If you're going to try for this year, get the LOR and stuff in ASAP. Im not sure if it hurts to apply, get rejected and then apply again. Im sure if you do that, theyd wanna see HUGE improvement.
